Metrosexuality
The Flâneur is not a metrosexual, but he is their inspiration. Messrs. Pitt and Beckham know this to be true.
Like them, I enjoy fine fabrics against my skin, a smart coiffure, and have someone attend my nails at least one a week. Unlike them, though, I escape branding even as I stroll down Oxford St., 5th Avenue, Rodeo, and the Champs. The same, of course, goes for the various back alleys, random boulevards, and park spaces I find myself traversing (unless it is I applying the brand).
I suppose, though, that when all is said and done we are a brotherhood of sorts. After all, the metros and I see fashion cater to ourselves and even, from time to time, initiate giant leaps forward by bending the very idea of sophisticated dress to our will.

I appreciate your respectful attitude towards metrosexuals, I have always admired them. There is no need to treat them rudely for their branding and their generic looks.
